Independent Director
Mr. Bhatt has over 40 years of professional experience in the banking sector. He served as the Chairman of the State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, from 2006 to 2011. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming the institution and oversaw a five-fold growth in loans and deposits within five years.
In addition to SBI, he served as Chairman of the Indian Banks Association (IBA), contributing significantly to economic diplomacy. He has been honoured with the ‘Banker of the Year’ award by Business Standard and the ‘CNN-IBN Indian of the Year’ award in 2007.
Mr. Bhatt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from DAV College, Dehradun, and a Master’s Degree in English Literature.

Mr. Subedar has over 40 years of experience in business management, finance, taxation, law and accounting. Earlier, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Tata Sons Limited, having previously held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.
His association with the Tata Group spans over 38 years, during which he worked closely with multiple Tata Group companies and Tata Non-Banking Financial Companies, contributing to their growth and governance. He also served as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry and has been actively involved with NGOs across diverse sectors, reflecting his commitment to social causes.
Mr. Subedar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Mr. Khara served as the Chairman of the State Bank of India from 2020 to 2024 and has over 35 years of experience across all facets of banking. He joined SBI as a Probationary Officer in 1984 and went on to hold several senior leadership roles, including Managing Director for Global Banking and Subsidiaries, Managing Director for Associates and Subsidiaries, and MD & CEO of SBI Mutual Funds.
He has led key verticals such as International Banking, Large Corporate Banking and Treasury, and has overseen non-banking subsidiaries including SBI Cards, SBI Mutual Fund, SBI Life and SBI General Insurance, among others.
Mr. Khara holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce from the Delhi School of Economics and an MBA from FMS, New Delhi.

Mr. Rao is the former founding CEO of NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited (NIIF IFL), where he led the institution from 2015 to 2022, building it into a leading NBFC focused on operating infrastructure projects.
He has over 38 years of experience in project finance, investment banking and advisory services, including 18 years at IDFC, where he ultimately served as Chief Risk Officer. His career also includes leadership roles at ICICI, HPCL and Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Rao holds a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.

Mr. Malik has 35+ years of extensive experience in the banking sector, having established, expanded and managed businesses across developed and emerging markets in Asia. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to TPG, supporting multiple portfolio companies across India and Southeast Asia.
Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Citibank Hong Kong and held several senior leadership roles during his 20-year tenure at Citibank. He also served as Managing Director and Regional Head of Asia for Private and Business Clients at Deutsche Bank, and as CEO of Maritime Bank in Vietnam.
He holds an MBA from Rice University and a B.Tech from IIT Bombay.

Mr. Thadani is a Firm Partner with TPG and heads TPG’s Growth, Rise and Rise Climate funds in India. He has led investments across healthcare, energy transition and consumer sectors in India and the South Asia region.
Prior to joining TPG in 2013, he worked with India Equity Partners, focusing on consumer and healthcare investments.
He has been recognised as one of India’s 40 under 40 Business Leaders by The Economic Times and is a member of the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association’s Climate Council. Mr. Thadani holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for all-round achievement.

Mr. Mehra is a Managing Director of TPG Capital Asia, based in Mumbai. He focuses on investments in the financial services and consumer sectors.
Prior to joining TPG in 2018, he worked with WestBridge Capital.
Mr. Mehra holds an MBA from London Business School and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
